Rich Geisel: Co-Founder/President

In 1990 Rich became an accidental philanthropist after inheriting the sponsorship of a little Ethiopian girl when his mom passed away from kidney failure. By 2011 that sponsorship list had grown to thirteen children scattered around the Globe.

Rich also spent three years as the youth director for St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Morgantown PA, where his mentor; the late Rev. John Harvard strengthened his commitment to Christ and Mission. Partly inspired by John’s own missionary work in Peru, Rich heard his own call in 2010 and in March of 2011 he took a year off to volunteer on four continents and meet all the children he was sponsoring at the time. That journey would ultimately turn on the the light that would bloom his own foundation. After he completed the 12 months of volunteering in Rich decided to  join the millions of people around the globe focused on supporting people in need.

Rich still actively supports other organizations making a sea change in the world. They include  The Carter Foundation, Doctors without Borders, OxfamCompassion International and the C.N.E.W.A.  Each has fed his passion for philanthropy and they are where he draws his inspiration.
